About ten months ago, in late December 2021, I had the opportunity to listen to an amazing and captivating episode on the N12 podcast “One a Day”. The episode was titled “The Israeli Who Built a Time Machine” and it discussed the connection of Dr. Eliad Peretz to NASA’s ambitious and immense project.
The launch of the James Webb Telescope into space.
This telescope is an unprecedented, creative, and complex instrument
that will allow humanity to truly see the past, and through this
to learn much about the present, about Earth, about the stars around us, and perhaps even to answer the question if there is life elsewhere.
In December 2021, the telescope was successfully launched into space, thus achieving the first step towards its goal. Before it lies a long journey of flight, positioning, and successful deployment towards the beginning of its work in documenting the galaxies.
During those days, I was busy at the beginning of formulating our Winter 2022 collection. I found myself fascinated by the infinite magic and wonder of space and the cosmos, amazed by the amazing capabilities of the researchers and scientists who are making another breakthrough and seeking to provide another glimpse
of the wonders of the universe and the amazing constants that surround us.
Inspired by space and the infinite galaxies, inspired by amazing people, researchers, and visionary people who are seeking and believe that significant breakthroughs are still ahead of us. Thus, this magical collection was born.
Powerful, penetrating, and larger than life.
In July 2022, NASA amazed the world and released the first image from the space telescope.
The ambitious mission begins to take shape as a success.
This amazing image closed a circle for me with the amazing collection that was already ready. It ignited our imagination and led us to the concept and art that accompanied the collection photoshoot.
